Who is Oakland Tactical and What Do We Offer?
We have been in business since 2003 in one form or another. To our soon to be new customers Oakland Tactical is a firearms and tactical gear retailer located in Howell, Michigan. They specialize in providing “hard use” firearms and components for military, law enforcement, and competitive shooters. Oakland Tactical offers a wide selection of handguns, rifles, optics, sights, body armor, and accessories.
You Had a Great Website, Why Was the New Website Launched?
Oakland Tactical launched their new website to provide customers with an easy way to browse their in-store products and products we can get quickly online through our manufacturers and distributors. The website also allows customers to contact Oakland Tactical directly with any questions or inquiries they may have.
How Will the Website Improve Customer Service?
First you will be able to search a large selection of top tier tactical and shooting sports firearms and accessories. After a purchase the new website provides customers with detailed information about each order they buy.
A purchase can delivered to an FFL, non-regulated items can be shipped to your door or you can buy online and pick up in store. No more transfer fees for products we do not have in stock but have available just as fast as any internet dealer in the country.
Customers can easily search for the items they need and read reviews from other customers who have purchased them before. Shipping has also been updated to provide tracking numbers faster as well as order status that we could not provide with our old system.
Additionally, customers can contact Oakland Tactical directly through the website if they have any questions or concerns about their products.
Different Features of the Website
The website has several features that make it easy for customers to find what they are looking for. Filtering in stock items for both what we have in our Howell Location and filtering in stock items that are quickly available in our manufacturers and distributors inventory. We don’t pretend like other sites we have millions and millions in inventory but we can get hands on it and get it to you quickly.
One new feature is that category navigation is much easier on the new platform. You can find firearms and silencers by manufacturer. The search feature is much more robust and can find items by search words, something other site needed us to tag each item heavily with key words.
If it shows its in stock its in stock, our new website is updated constantly from sales in our store and online giving you the most accurate inventory available in the industry. In addition our silencer selection will rival Silencer Shop and we can do all the paperwork in our Howell location.
How to Use the Website
Using the website is simple and straightforward. Customers can start by searching for the item they need using either the product type or brand name search bar at the top of the page. Once you find an item you like, you can read reviews from other customers (no reviews yet) who have purchased it before making your purchase decision. If you still have questions after reading reviews, you can fill out the contact form on the website to get in touch with Oakland Tactical directly.
