The 40-Grain Hollow Point rimfire bullets fly fast and are accurate but if you want to actually put some distance between you and your target you need a higher velocity round. The standard velocity round is too slow and if you want to increase your speed you need a higher velocity round. The problem with most rimfire is that the hammer falls short and the bullet has to travel so far. The Match.22 is designed to do just that. It utilizes a choked notch bullet nose tip to eliminate accuracy-robbing sizing. The bullet is case hardened CCI primer and the boxer press used is the same as in the match grade round. Eley recommends the hollow point bullets for target shooting. The 40-grain round is the same as in the match grade round but is backed by Eley’s limited lifetime warranty.
