It is designed to let you field strip the stripped lower receiver and assemble it using standard AR15 parts. This kit does not contain a trigger guard or pistol grip. The lower receiver is what you will see in the pictures. It will have the single flat right where the hand guard goes. We decided to go with a single flat right where the pistol grip goes and a single low profile round trigger guard for the bare bones minimum to assemble a stripped AR15 lower receiver. We decided to leave the square hole right where the trigger goes on purpose to give the shooter a choice as to whether or not they want to keep the square hole or not. We decided to leave the rounded square hole and round the bottom of the receiver off since many people like to leave it off without their full trigger guard. We apologize for the inconvenience.
