$15.00D&H Industries has been a government contractor for USGI 30 round magazines, and also has been the largest supplier of magazines to the Israeli Defense Force. D&H has been in magazines for decades and has a dedication to product quality and a rigorous QC program that includes periodic reliability testing involving thousands upon thousands of rounds fired to run random magazines through simulated life-cycles adhering to strict reliability standards for various contracts. They make a quality 30 round magazine with a durable grey hardcoat anodized, teflon impregnated finish. Unlike Polymer magazines which can be great in one batch and then invisibly cost reduced by bean counters via a material or internal geometry change resulting in brittle, flexible, or otherwise failure-prone product, the D&H / USGI style magazine is a consistent quality product that is not subject to dramatic specification change over time.
These are available in two follower styles- the magpul anti-tilt followers which eliminate the risk of follower tilt during heavy impact when partially loaded, or the Green USGI limited tilt follower which can reliably support slightly higher maximum bolt speeds through the curved portion of the magazine. Both are great options for a reliable magazine you can count on to support reliable function from 160+F to extreme cold weather conditions, through rough handling or extended loading. The USGI style magazine is the most combat tested magazine for the AR15 family of firearms, it has no known feed lip creep problems and can be loaded and stored permanently. It does not get brittle when cold, and its aluminum body is not damaged by cleaning solvents such as de-greasing spray products that are known to damage injection molded materials
